Full-mouth restoration, sometimes called reconstruction or rejuvenation is the individual recreation of each tooth in the mouth. Full-mouth restoration is recommended when the teeth are worn down, broken, missing or if you experience pain in the jaw, headaches, back pain, muscle tenderness or clicking or popping of the jaw, causing problems in both the bite and appearance of your mouth.
Dr. Fundora can totally rejuvenate your mouth, creating a healthy, beautiful smile in as few as two visits.
If you answer yes to any of the following statements, you may be a candidate for Full Mouth Restoration:
teeth are worn, broken, chipped or cracked
TMJ problem (temporomandibular joint syndrome)
headaches or migraines
tooth loss
pain or soreness around jaw joints
facial, neck, shoulder and/or back pain
clicking or grating sounds in jaw joints
experience limited jaw movement or have locking jaw
Dr. Fundora uses the most advanced technologies to reshape and rebuild the patient's teeth, gums and surrounding areas. One or several procedures may be necessary to obtain the desired effect.
The end result is an enhanced appearance giving you renewed confidence and a beautiful, healthy smile. Full mouth rehabilitation begins with the gums, the foundation for the teeth and the rest of the mouth.
The treatment goal is to properly align the jaw and rebuild damaged teeth. Jaw position is typically corrected using a plastic orthotic that fits over the top of the teeth. Teeth are restored with veneers, crowns, or onlays. Depending on the patient, a prosthesis may be used.
